About Anca
Welcome, I am glad to meet you! I am Anca Monica Mocanu, founder of Contab Group, Marketing Consultant and Business Consultant, and I want to tell you that I completely understand the challenges you’re going through. I’ve been there too, a starting entrepreneur in a foreign country, trying to find clear answers and solutions in a new environment. I’m telling you this because I know what it’s like to be at the beginning, to feel uncertain but also to have the desire to succeed.
My story began in 1998, when I graduated from the Faculty of Letters and Sciences in Bacău (Romania) and became a teacher. During those years, I discovered the joy of guiding and mentoring people – something that, in a way, prepared me for the path of entrepreneurship. However, after a few years I wanted more. I wanted to explore other fields and I accepted a challenge in insurance, a field avoided by many at the time. I led teams, developed strategies, and learned what it means to achieve performance.
Meanwhile, my passion for business grew so I decided to strengthen my knowledge with a Master’s degree in Marketing. In 2006, after graduating, I felt that I had found my path: to use everything I learnt to help other businesses grow. But my journey was never easy.
In 2010, together with my husband, I took a bold step and moved to Denmark. Everything was new here. We didn’t know the culture, the laws nor the market but we knew one thing: we wanted to build something durable. That’s how we started our own business: a Consulting and Accounting firm. We went through all the stages you’re probably going through right now. From the uncertainty of the first decisions to the satisfaction of the first successes. I know what it’s like to learn along the way, to adapt to a new environment and to constantly seek support and quick solutions.
My experiences taught me not only how to build a solid business but also how to provide real support to entrepreneurs who, just like me, are looking for clarity and security. I created Contab Group with this goal: to offer more than Accounting and Marketing services. We offer partnership, support and concrete solutions. At Contab Group we never compromise on quality, and every client is treated with dedication and professionalism. We know how much every detail and every well-made decision matters.
Over the years I’ve continued to develop myself. In 2021 I completed two certifications in Coaching and Training, becoming a Mentor for entrepreneurs who want to reach their full potential. And because I know how important community is, I founded the Successful Women’s Group in Denmark, a place where women entrepreneurs can support and inspire each other.
I’m telling you all this not just to show you what I’ve accomplished, but because I want you to know that I’ve walked in your shoes. Olimpiu Cristian Mocanu – Accountant and Marketing & Management Specialist
Hello, I am Olimpiu Cristian Mocanu, and I am part of the Contab Group team. In my professional journey I have learned that every number tells a story and behind every business there are people with big dreams who need support and clear guidance. I graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest (Romania) with a degree in Marketing in 1996 and since then I have always been attracted to the complexity and dynamics of business.
Over the years, I have gained diverse experience, starting with accounting, but also Sales and management, working for various companies in Romania. I realized that what defines me is the desire to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses by offering them efficient financial solutions and constant support. Over time, I understood how important it is for an entrepreneur to have a trusted partner who understands the real needs behind the numbers.
What motivates me is the fact that at Contab Group we share the same principles: transparency, trust and real, human support. It’s not just about keeping financial records in order but about building a trusting relationship with our clients.
